Palesa Lehasa from Khuma is proud of her medal she received after completing the Two Oceans 56 km marathon. “I am still on cloud nine after the surprise congratulatory celebration party my team and colleagues at Khuma Transnet Community Centre threw for me! Completing the marathon was an incredible achievement, and their recognition and support mean the world to me.’’ She finished the marathon in a time of 5hours and 11minutes, bagging a bronze medal.
