Lentswe, Jouberton - The Lulu Chao Foundation (LCF) is a community based organisation with various programs to plough back to the society and collaborate with other organisations that are committed and doing the same project. On Mandela Day, LCF visited Biza Garden View in Ext 17 where Rethabile Ngwenya, local chairperson and District Secretary of Youth in Agriculture and Rural Development, focused on how to create a backyard garden and sustain it. She said it is important to grow your own food.
In her talk, Palesa Mbanxa focused on encouraging women to form the Letsema, helping each other in a group by planting and growing plants together.
Lulu Chao, founder of LCF requested all the youth and women to stand up and start doing things for themselves before Rev MP Moholo said people must use what is given to them and work hard to be successful.
