NOORDWESTER – LICHTENBURG - Lichtenburg SAPS representatives, together with the Community Police Forum, embarked on a Community Outreach campaign at the Sanlam Plaza Complex in Lichtenburg.
The issues addressed were GBV, card cloning, fraudulent way of offering jobs, and substance abuse. The representatives spoke to community members while they were standing in line to receive their social grants.

The members were listening attentively and actively interacting with the representatives. Pamphlets were handed out, and the members also told the officials about how substance abuse is their biggest concern.
The campaign was a great success, and the response was really good. The community members were delighted to engage with our officials. The complex owner, Mr Zazious, also came to thank the representatives for their presence as it also minimizes criminal activities.
