  • Police seek assistance in identifying a suspect in a rape case

    STELLALANDER-VRYBURG: Vryburg Police have issued an urgent appeal to the community for assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a Vryburg rape case committed on Monday, 11 November 2024. 
    According to the police, the suspect is described as being of light to medium complexion, approximately 1.75 meters tall, with a slender build and brown eyes. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, yellow track pants, white sneakers, and a black beanie. The Vryburg Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) is leading the investigation. Constable Kutlwano Pusoeng has urged anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward.
