This extraordinary event will transport families and schools to a world that existed 65 million years ago, where dinosaurs roamed the same land we walk on today, drank the same water we drink, and breathed the same air we breathe.
The Dino Expo has switched up gears; and its full throttle towards a jaw-dropping Jurassic jungle experience perfect for all day entertainment for the whole family. If you thought you have seen it all, you haven’t.
The Jurassic Giants Festival Klerksdorp exhibition will be held at the Portuguese Hall from August 15-18 (09:00-17:00). There they plan to unveil two Jurassic giants, the majestic Tyrannosaurus Rex (13 metres) and the Austrolotitan (20 metres), among several other attractions for maximum family fun and entertainment. Prepare to come face to face with this legendary species, marvel at their fearsome teeth, witness their tails sway, and hear their majestic roars.
Spreading over 10 000 square metres, various exhibitors, music DJs, and food stalls from across the province will participate in the dinosaur jamboree.
The Dinosaur Festival aims to ensure that every family and child, can have access to this incredible experience. Not only will festival goers have an unforgettable experience, but they will also be supporting the mission to raise awareness about climate change initiatives and prevent humanity from facing extinction, just like the tragic fate of the dinosaurs.
Each of the sections will have its own entrance ticket and visitors have the liberty to choose which sections of the exhibition they want to see, depending on their preferences. Tickets will be valid for the whole day (excluding rides and activities).

The festival will be divided into different sections
* Dino Expo
* Jurassic Giants
* Dino Street Theatre
* Reptile Show
* Amusement rides and activities
* Dinosaur playground (The playground area will consist of an inflatable dinosaur slide, the dinosaur nest and the stegosaurus slide)
* Jumping castle area
* Fossil digging
* Chisa Nyama and picnic area with DJs
Note that the common area ticket will only give you access to the following:
* Jurassic Giants scenic view
* Jumping castles
* Picnic area
* Markets
* Music DJs
* Food trucks
The Festival has facilities that are set up in such a way that each activity has a differently priced ticket, and as such, customers can purchase tickets for the specific sections that they want to visit.
A full access ticket for example, will give the holder access to all the sections of the exhibition except the activities and rides.
