Biesiesvlei Police nabbed suspect with stolen items
NOORDWESTER – BIESIESVLEI – On Monday, 7 October police followed up on anonymous information that there were hidden items at a certain house in Itekeng.
Consequently, a search was conducted and a 32 year-old male was apprehended at Extention 1 in Itekeng after he failed to account for possession of two solar panel boards and a battery to the value of R12 000.
Coligny License Department tops
NOORDWESTER - COLIGNY – Residents of Lichtenburg were fed up with the Lichtenburg License Department, who was not able to help them with renewals or temporarily license matters, even if they had an approved eye test certificate. A photo and thumb prints is also needed.
After discussions, it became clear that another town might be the answer and as such, a number of people drove to Coligny.

Vier eretoekennings is oorhandig aan persone wat onbaatsugtige, maar baie belangrike werk vir jare gedoen het.
Boeta du Toit se betrokkenheid het ‘n groot verskil gemaak in Zeerust en Lichtenburg. Du Toit was lank betrokke by NWK, ten tyde van sy aftrede was hy uitvoerende hoofbestuurder van Agri NW vir 18 jaar.
Leon Bellingham, Emile sy seun, onvang die eretoekenning vir Leon se bydraes wat hy by Agri NW gelewer het in die Vryburgdistrik.
Mafikeng Archdeaconry observes season of creation
NOORDWESTER – MAHIKENG - The Mafikeng Archdeaconry in the diocese of Kimberley and Kuruman recently hosted a gardening workshop as part of its Season of Creation celebrations on 29 September.
