Die VF Plus het die afgelope Saterdag provinsiale partyraadsvergadering gehou en drie afgevaardigdes van Ditsobotla het die vergadering bygewoon. Hulle het van die geleentheid gebruik gemaak om met die leierskap die situasie in Lichtenburg te bespreek met betrekking tot die water- en infrastruktuurprobleme wat tans ervaar word. 
Die VF Plus in Noordwes het reeds voorstelle vir ʼn drastiese kabinetsingryping by die chaotiese Ditsobotla-plaaslike munisipaliteit aan die minister van samewerkende regering en tradisionele sake (Cogta), Velenkosini Hlabisa, oorhandig. Die VF Plus se voorstelle behels ʼn nuwe benadering waar ʼn sterk nasionale inter-ministeriële ingrypingspan met ʼn kabinetsmandaat en uitvoerende magte kan ingryp om die situasie onder beheer te bring om volhoubare dienslewering te herstel.

NOORDWESTER – MAHIKENG - A case of a missing student was registered during May and the case was allocated to detective Warrant Officer O.A. Motlhabane. 
Thabiso Alias Motolo, known as Soso, a North West University (Mahikeng Campus) student went missing. The University CCTV showed him leaving the campus alone. 
Friends could not assist. Nevertheless, Warrant Officer Motlhabane didn’t despair and followed any lead that came his way.

NOORDWESTER – LICHTENBURG - An alleged notorious livestock thief, Moses Matshego (39), will remain in custody following a brief appearance in the Ditsobotla Magistrates’ Court in Itsoseng on Friday, 6 September.  He is expected to reappear before the same court on Thursday, 12 September. 
Matshego was arrested on Wednesday morning, 4 September, near Itsoseng after Mahikeng Stock theft and Endangered Species (STES) unit members followed up on a tip-off about suspected stolen cattle loaded in a truck.

NOORDWESTER – LICHTENBURG - NORTH WEST: Radikashu Isaac Tsie (44) appeared in the Lichtenburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 11 September 2024, on charges of fraud. 
Tsie was arrested this week by members of the Mahikeng-based Serious Commercial Crime Investigation in Lichtenburg. 
His arrest follows an investigation into allegations of fraud relating to the procurement of legal practitioner’s services for Ditsobotla Local Municipality.
