Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Lions Clubs of Klerksdorp, Orkney, and Stilfontein announced the annual Big Walk for Young Warriors, a community event dedicated to supporting children fighting cancer.
All proceeds will be donated to child cancer causes. The event will take place on February 13 at Curro Klerksdorp in Elm Street. Registrations will start at 18:00, with the walk at 18:30. The distances are 2 km or 4 km and the entry fee is R30 per person.
Local businesses and organisations are encouraged to enter as teams. Walking together offers a meaningful team-building experience while supporting an important cause. They invite families, schools, companies, and individuals to join in walking for awareness, hope, and support.
Together, people can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young cancer warriors.
