STELLALANDER-VRYBURG: The Cohuki Foundation has hailed the success of its rugby clinic held on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at Colridge Stadium, where more than 180 enthusiastic learners gathered to sharpen their skills and celebrate the spirit of the game. 
The Foundation expressed gratitude to the parents who entrusted their children to the programme, as well as to the teachers of Floradene Primary Schoolo and Thuto Lesedi Primary School for their unwavering support. Learners from Saruchera Primary, Colinda Primary, John Frylinck High, Colinda High, and Vryburg High also participated, proudly representing their schools and the clinic.

STELLALANDER-VRYBURG: The Department of Health, in collaboration with the South African Association of Paediatric Hematology and Oncology (SAAPHO), the National Cancer Registry (NCR), CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), invites South Africans to come together in support of children, adolescents, and their families affected by childhood cancer during September’s International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 
Childhood cancer, while often seen as rare, is a major health issue and one of the top causes of disease-related deaths among children worldwide. The WHO reports approximately 400,000 new cases annually, with around 1,000 of these cases occurring in South Africa. Locally, leukemia is the most frequently diagnosed childhood cancer, according to the National Cancer Registry.

STELLALANDER-TAUNG: On Saturday, 30 August 2025, the community of Buxton, Taung and surrounding areas came together for a successful clean-up campaign at Thomeng, popularly known as “Small Heaven.” 
The initiative, led by local youth, was self-funded, with community members contributing what resources they could to protect and restore this important tourist attraction.
