Klerksdorp Midweek, Stilfontein - The residents of this town are invited to join a peaceful march to demand better service delivery.
The march, organised by a NPO called Stilfontein Alive, will take place on Tuesday September 17 and it will start at 09:00 on the corner of Lanyon and Stilfontein Road. The march will end at the Stilfontein Municipal Offices.

The key issues are high municipal rates, leaking sewage, dilapidated roads, dysfunctional streetlights, unemployment, unattended stalls (LED) occupied by drug users and illegal dumping sites.

“Let’s come together to hold our local government accountable and ensure that  our community receives the services it deserves.

“Your participation is crucial,” said Henrico Jackson, organiser.
