Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Julia Child said “people who love to eat are always the best people”.
The Flavor Fest Craft Drinks and Food Fest promises a glorious day filled with food, fun and full plates.

The festival, its Winter Edition, will take place at the Portuguese Hall on Saturday July 20 and the organiser, Adelize Rossouw, promises more than forty different food stalls and a huge variety of different eats. 

They will have, among others, Greek, Portuguese, Thai and Indian food as well as crepes and waffles and craft beer. 

You can also expect pulled pork, various ice-cream stands and various types of burgers. You can also expect gourmet marshmellows and popcorn. 

The Round Table Matlosane 45 will have pulled pork on roosterkoek!

“We will have something to eat for everyone,” she said. The entrance fee is R10 per person, with children younger than 12 years free entrance.

They will also have jumping castles and face painting to keep the little ones entertained while their parents can enjoy the food!

The festival will take place from 10:00 till 17:00, with the rugby test between the Springboks and Portugal screening live on the big screen at 17:00 as part of the after party.
