Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - One of the country’s top comedians will be on the Escapades Stage this weekend and he promises to keep you giggling!
Two lucky couples can attend the show for free and they can also go to dinner; all with compliments of Rio Casino. Schalk Bezuidenhout will be at the casino on Saturday August 16. He is described as South Africa’s favourite quirky funnyman and his latest comedy show is sharper, braver, and more hilarious than ever.
With his unique blend of charm and wit, Schalk delivers a night of comedy that’s both outrageously funny and surprisingly heartfelt.
Schalk’s most loved and funniest TV role was Danny Beyers in Hotel on KykNet, where he worked as a crazy bellboy. His antics keep viewers entertained in every episode.
He also played the lead in Kanarie, a coming-of-age war musical about a small town boy who gets chosen to serve his compulsory two year military training in the South African Defence Force Choir and Concert group - known as the “Canaries” - during the height of the Apartheid regime.
