Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The Klerksdorp Wrestling Club demonstrated their skill at the Northwest Open Championship held in Pretoria, a prestigious event that attracted 352 entries from top wrestlers across the country. Gauteng hosted the tournament where wrestlers from Klerksdorp showcased their talent and determination.
The Klerksdorp wrestlers brought home four medals. Tanki Tau earned a gold medal, while Connor de Lange and Bendre Pretorius secured silver. 

Pieter Strydom rounded off the club’s medal count with a bronze. Owen Wetdewich and Luke Edwards narrowly missed out on medals.
