Lentswe, Jouberton - The highly anticipated football tournament organized by the “Sports Unity Association” (SUA) came to a close recently, after a day of intense competition at the local stadium. The event, which saw five teams vying for the top spot, was a resounding success, with fans packing the stands to cheer on their favourite teams.
Friendly soccer match this weekend
Lentswe, Jouberton - The GVF Sporting Monyetla Programme is happy to report that a scouting friendly soccer match will take place on Sunday June 30. TS Galaxy Football Club will send two teams comprising u/17 and u/19 players. They will play against local players selected from finalists of Kanana Rybakina, Golden Palace u/19’s; finalists of Golden Palace and Sun City Arsenal u/17’s. Varsity Football is back
Lentswe, Klerksdorp - South Africa’s premier university football competition is back, bigger and better with the 2024 Varsity Football tournament set to kick-off on July 25. Lisa Roux, head of Varsity Sports, highlights the incredible opportunities and life-changing impact of the men’s and women’s football tournaments.
In the men’s tournament, TUT, UWC, DUT, CUT, UP Tuks, UFS and VUT will take on each other over seven rounds.
