Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Two new councillors were sworn in last week. William Malefo and Martha Moremi were sworn in on Tuesday January 21. The official ceremony, conducted by Senior Magistrate Marionette Kirsten, took place at the Klerksdorp Magistrate’s Court. Both councillors, representing the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) as Proportional Representative Councillors (PR), solemnly pledged to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of South Africa. In their commitment, the two councillors promised to serve the people of Matlosana with dedication and integrity.
