After our bakkie was damaged in the floods, we spent six long weeks without a vehicle. We couldn’t respond to emergencies, transport animals, or carry out our daily care work. It was heart-breaking,” said Diane Jacobs of the shelter.
They have been praying for a donor to come forward and help them with a bakkie. And their prayers were answered!
“Just when things felt impossible, help arrived! JJ Jacobs from TLC Fire, a well-known Klerksdorp businessman, came to our rescue with the most generous gift - we now have a vehicle again!’’
According to her, words can’t describe the relief and joy they are feeling.
“This donation has brought hope not only to us but to all the animals who depend on us every single day. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you, JJ. Your compassion and kindness have made a life-changing difference.”
