Curro Klerksdorp celebrated learners at their Valedictory Ceremony held this month. Reabetswe Ranta received several awards including the Brother Matthew award, voted for by die staff and learners, the Deus Caritas Est Trophy and the prestigious Honours Award (White Blazer). This accolade honours learners who have excelled in at least three of the four different disciplines. This means that honours needed to have been awarded in culture, sport, academic and/or leadership. This is the highest award that a learner at Curro Klerksdorp may receive.
Lord Molefe received the Danie van Rensburg Shield awarded for loyalty to the school; being a role model to others; abiding by the Code of Conduct; having strong moral fibre and integrity; and being a good ambassador for the school.
Nkhensani Sibutsi is the Culture Female for 2025.
Karabo Gaboutloeloe is the Culture Male for 2025.
Onalenna Ralepeli, Reabetswe Ranta and Ethan Kungu are the top three Grade 12 achievers from Curro, and received Academic Honours. Ethan Kungu is also the Dux Scholar for Grade 12.
