RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - AfriForum-buurtwagte in Marico het op 18 Oktober aan die organisasie se tweede nasionale patrollie vir die jaar deelgeneem waartydens 200 AfriForum-patrolleerders in 148 voertuie die paaie van dié streek gepatrolleer het. 
Verder het 86 deelnemers van die Suid-Afrikaanse Polisiediens (SAPD), gemeenskapspolisiëringsforums (GPF), sekuriteitsmaatskappye en nooddienste die patrollie ondersteun. Die volgende dorpe se AfriForum-buurtwagte het aan hierdie gesamentlike poging deelgeneem:

To quality for an entry, you have to reside in or around Rustenburg and there are four categories, defined by age. Mr and Miss Teen Rustenburg entrants have to be between 15 and 19 years of age and entrants for Mr and Miss Rustenburg have to be between 20 and 45 years of age.

We are celebrating 100 years of existence from 10:00 to 18:00 at this beautiful venue, with the obligatory beer on tap and an Oompah band - as well as other sets of live music and loads of stalls offering food and entertainment, all day long. RUSTENBURG HERALD - BOITEKONG - The Department of Correctional Services celebrated ‘Corrections Week’ from 15 to 21 September. Corrections Week is celebrated annually every September in order to promote awareness and understanding of the correctional system in South Africa. 
The emphasis is on redirecting public perception in regard to the benefits of rehabilitating offenders versus punishment and highlighting the benefits of rehabilitation and effective social reintegration.
