Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - SANBS is going all out to collect blood before the October school holiday. They will have a blood donor clinic on September 21 at the Laerskool Goudkop Family Week. The primary school will be having a
family week where they will be raising funds for PA Theron Primary in Stilfontein. SANBS will also be part of the stakeholders assisting Goudkop to reach their goal by inviting donors to come and donate blood on the day, with a target of 150 units to reach. On Saturday September 30, Overvaal Stereo will be broadcasting live from the donor centre at Flamwood Walk.
SANBS will be doing “Jail A Bird”, whereby one of the presenters will be “jailed” and the radio listeners would then be the ones that need to present at the Donor Centre, to free the jailed presenter as a form of donating blood. The target for the day is 200 units.
