Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The SAVF Rethabile Child and Youth Care Centre is in dire need of funds and is hosting a fun run on Wednesday October 9. The home is dependent on donation from the community, businesses and companies to ensure effective service delivery to 150 children in need of care and protection. The Children’s Home is a 24 hour residential care facility that renders primary care, therapeutic services and development programmes to children from all over North West.
Bowling for boobies
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Bowling for Boobies will be held on Thursday October 10 with lots of fun on the bowling green. Entries for this annual fundraiser in aid of OFM’s Pinktober funkdraiser sold out within ten days. A total of 28 teams will take to the greens at Klerksdorp Bowls Club from 17:00.

Round Table, OFM and Beefmaster are involved. This charity bowls event will take place at the Klerksdorp Bowls Club in Goue Weg at the Recreation Centre. The fun will start at 17:00.
Karatekas get NW colours
Two of Ryu Kyu GoJu Karate’s students received their NW colours 2025 for Martial Arts. Sensei Nathen Olivier and Marko Blignaut were awarded. The dojo thanks Martial Arts SA and South African Korean Martial Arts Association for all the opportunities they give the students.
Sevens Festival promises sport, music and more
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The premier 7s sports extravaganza is back and bigger than ever! The festival will take place over the weekend of September 20 and 21. Hoërskool Klerksdorp is the venue host and the terrain will buzz with activity when they host the largest music line-up yet, along with 48 rugby teams, 64 netball teams, 16 hockey teams, 16 dodgeball teams, 8 seven-a-side cricket teams, and 178 enthusiastic golfers ready to bring the #feesmetgees to life.
