Mzazi wins in hometown
Gladwin Mzazi won the first-ever Flamwood Walk race on Sunday November 19. He is originally from Klerksdorp and he took part in the Soweto Marathon. Marco ’n ware Protea
Marco Jansen van Klerksdorp het vir die Proteas in die Wêreldbekertoernoi in Indië gespeel. Hy het in die semi-finaal teen Australië gespeel. Hy kon nie ‘n lopie aanteken nie. Hy het 3 paaltjies teen Nieu-Seeland geneem en 16 gedurende die toernooi.

Medaljes vir rolbalpare
Rolbalspelers van Klerksdorp het hul medaljes ontvang wat by die onlangse Noordweskompetisies gewen is. Dalene Peens en Waded van den Heever het ‘n bronsmedalje elk gekry by die dames pare kompetisie. Josh Radebe en Anton Grobler het ook bronsmedaljes gewen.
Fortress Running Series to hit Klerksdorp
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Lace up your takkies and get ready to participate in the Fortress Running Series race taking place for the first time ever at Flamwood Walk on November 19. This is the first race being held at the Flamwood Walk shopping centre and is the last of the four races in the 2023 Fortress Running Series. Comrades legends Tete Dijana and Edward Mothibi will be participating in the race – join them by entering today.
Entry fees start at R60 for the 5km, R100 for the 10km and R150 for the 21.1km races. Children under 12 can participate in the 5km race for free.
