Bohlale Makurube represented Milner High School on Friday February 28 and Saturday March 1 at the Northwest swimming trials in Potchefstroom. He achieved two third places, one second place and five first places. Bohlale was selected for the Northwest Swimming team and will be participating at the SA level 3 championship on March 20. Ditebogo Lobeko won gold for boys u13 long jump at the Dr Kenneth Kaunda athletics meeting and went on to win another gold at the North West championships. His next competition is the SA championships. Ditebogo is a learner at PA Theron Primary School.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In a generous gesture to support education in the community, the Rotary Club of Klerksdorp has donated a brand-new printer to Alabama Secondary School. The donation aims to ease the school’s challenges in providing students with the necessary resources to enhance their learning experience. The club’s involvement is part of their ongoing commitment to service projects that focus on education, youth development, and community well-being. Over the years, the club has consistently supported local schools through a variety of initiatives, including providing educational supplies and organizing mentorship programs.
