The first parkrun at Sun City took place on Saturday May 3. Jo-Anne and Hannes van Wyk, both active at the Matlosana Bird Parkrun, participated in the 5 km at the first ever event. Hannes is seen here with the legendary Bruce Fordyce. It was Jo-Anne’s 112th and Hannes’ 76th parkrun.

Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Hoërskool Schoonspruit en Hoërskool Wolmaransstad sal op 9 Mei in hul dertiende Classic Clash teen mekaar te staan kom.
Vanjaar se kragmeting word aangebied op Wollies se tuisveld. Dit is al sedert 2012 ‘n sporthoogtepunt vir albei skole. Vanjaar sal die skole teen mekaar meeding in hokkie, netbal en rugby.
Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The NW Wolves Hockey club is looking for senior players who still want to play hockey.
Klerksdorp has both a ladies and men’s team. They have scheduled training times in the evenings on the Astro pitch at Curro as well as organized games against other towns.
It’s a nice way to meet new people and to stay in shape through winter months.
They encourage anyone who may be interested to come and join one of the training sessions. Teams also get selected to take part in the big 7’s tournament taking part in August. Players must be at least 17 years old to join.
