Another shooting in Orkney
Lentswe, Orkney - In another shooting in town, a man was gunned down while walking on a sidewalk near a popular fast food restaurant and the busy taxi terminus. The shooting was reported just after 19:00 on Saturday March 23. A woman who stays in Charlotte Maxeke Street near where the murder happened told Lentswe it sounded like fireworks exploding on New Year’s Day when she heard the gunshots. Brig Sabatha Mokgwabone, police spokesperson, said the victim was approached by four unknown men, all armed with handguns.
Provincial Thuntsha Lerole in Matlosana
Lentswe, Klerksdorp - On Friday March 22, the Provincial Thuntsha Lerole took place in Khuma, Jouberton and Tigane. The event was led by the North West Premier’s Office in collaboration with Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality and the City of Matlosana municipality.
