Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - April and May have become synonymous with the NW Musikon’s Heartstrings Project - the school’s charity fundraising project. The management firmly believe that music not only sparks joy, but also has the ability to touch hearts and bring about change. As such, the Heartstrings project is one that they are immensely passionate about.

Skrywers gesels oor boeke
Klerksdorpers het die geleentheid gehad om ‘n boekbekendstelling by Booqshelv by te woon. Skrywers Stefaans Coetzee en Cliffordene Norton het gesels oor hul jongste boeke. Salomé Kotzé, Klerksdorp Rekord se redakteur, het die gesprek gelei. Stefaans was een van die samestellers van die kortverhaalbundel, Sewe keer Sondig en Cliffordene se tweede jeugboek, Ek sal vir jou veg het pas verskyn. Hier gesels die twee met Sandy Schoeman wat die boekbekendstelling bygewoon het.
Health MEC opens cathlab
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Health MEC Madoda Sambatha visited Tshepong Hospital last week to officially open the CathLab, oncology unit and nuclear medicine unit. The hospital has been administering Nuclear Medicine since July 2023 and so far 557 patients have received nuclear treatment.
Fairy tale brought to life
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The audience roared with laughter when Cinderella’s glass slipper was replaced with crocs during Hoërskool Wesvalia’s production of the well-known fairy tale. The school’s Drama Academy performed Cinderella the Musical on April 30 and May 1 in the school hall.
