Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The Klerksdorp Wrestling Club demonstrated their skill at the Northwest Open Championship held in Pretoria, a prestigious event that attracted 352 entries from top wrestlers across the country. Gauteng hosted the tournament where wrestlers from Klerksdorp showcased their talent and determination.
The Klerksdorp wrestlers brought home four medals. Tanki Tau earned a gold medal, while Connor de Lange and Bendre Pretorius secured silver.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - NW Shinkyokushinkai Karate aka Team Tom will be hosting the 13th Matlosana Cup on April 5 and 6.
The first day is earmarked for juniors u18 and the second is set aside for Senior Knockdown event. Team Tom will be fully represented by these dojos: Milner, Chris Hani, Ext 16, Ithuseng, Mamusa, Lebaleng and Tsakane.

Die Matlosana Bird parkrun het die afgelope naweek plaasgevind en twee mylpale is bereik. Koos de Jongh het sy 200ste parkrun op Saterdag 22 Maart voltooi.
Pyro Kickboxing Club collects the medals
The students of Stilfontein Pyro Kickboxing Club participated in the recent NW Kickboxing Trails Competition in Rustenburg. They were all chosen to represent the province at the National SA Kickboxing Championships at the end of April in Newcastle, KZN. They are Chuan van Niekerk, bronze for continuous fighting and bronze for points fighting, Ivan Murray, gold for low kick light fighting and gold for continuous fighting, Shando van Niekerk, silver for low kick light fighting, bronze for continuous fighting and 4th place for points fighting, Vian Booyse, gold for continuous fighting and gold for points fighting) and (front) Vinay Kitching, gold for points fighting, Keanen van Niekerk, silver for continuous fighting and bronze for low kick light fighting and Biané Kriel, gold for low kick light fighting and gold for continuous fighting.
