The country’s top universities are gearing up to deliver next-level rugby action as the best student players go head-to-head in front of passionate fans at packed stadiums nationwide. The excitement kicks off with the Varsity Shield competition on February 14, followed by the FNB Varsity Cup on February 17.

Time for Klerksdorp Marathon
Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - It’s that time of the year again where everyone has a new year’s resolution of getting fit and Klerksdorp Marathon Club has the perfect event for you. The annual Aurum Klerksdorp Marathon is happening once again on February 9.
The event offers the beginner an easy 5km event, the more regular runner a 10km run and the serious guys can choose between the 21km half-marathon or the 42km full qualifying marathon.

Jo-Anne van Wyk het onlangs haar 100 ste Parkrun voltooi. Sy is by haar man, Hannes, en Maryke Gird, een van die vrywilligers by die Matlosana Bird Parkrun. Hannes het reeds 69 Parkruns voltooi.
