Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Given a chance to play on clay courts for the first time on South African soil, local players took full advantage of the opportunity by producing quality tennis across the board in the Renault Clay Courts Challenge hosted by North-West University (NWU) in Potchefstroom.

Kickboxers shine at Jakaranda challenge
The students of the Stilfontein Kickboxing Club participated in the Jakaranda Kickboxing Challenge that was held in Potchefstroom in July. They participated in the following three modes: Kick Light, Light Continuous and Points Fighting and all performed well. Mohau Seepamore received a gold and a silver medal, Arno Ouwenkamp (one bronze and a silver), Shando van Niekerk (three silver medals), Chuan van Niekerk (three silver medals), Zaid Hoosen (two silver medals) and (front) Shihan Martin Neff (two gold medals), Biané Kriel (one gold and a bronze medal), Ivan Murray (two gold medals), Keanen van Niekerk (one gold and a silver medal) and Daniël de Wet (three silver medals).
