A burst water pipe at the corner of Ian and Scott Street, directly in front of the Klerksdorp Record’s building forced thousands of litres of water to flood the surrounding area. Massive damage was caused on Saturday November 9 in the parking area at Klerksdorp Record and is for the time being closed for motorists because the area is unstable. Ongoing rain during the week is also causing a delay in the repair work. Matlosana’s water department arrived on site to fix the burst pipe that same afternoon.
