BRITS POS – BRITS – On Thursday afternoon, 1 August, a crime intelligence driven operation by the local Operational Coordination Centre (OCC), led to the arrest of five Mozambican foreign nationals for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicles.
“The suspects were apprehended after members received information about suspected stolen motor vehicles,” says Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, SAPS North West spokesperson.

Bojanala fraudsters arrested
BRITS POS – BOJANALA - The Democratic Alliance in the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality welcomes the arrest of two former employees of the municipality.
According to reports, the two employees made fraudulent payments to an incorrect bank account instead of an approved network provider. An internal audit revealed that employees in the IT department of the municipality altered the bank account number of a service provider and administered payments into the bank account using forged invoices.
OPERATION SHANELA - 820 suspects arrested
BRITS POS – BRITS – SAPS members, units and other law enforcement agencies arrested 820 suspects for various crimes from Monday, 22 July to Sunday, 28 July.
The suspects were arrested for rape, murder, assault GBH, malicious damage to property, burglary residential and business premises, possession of drugs, theft out of/from motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Hulle het Maandag, 22 Julie, in die Ganyesa-landdroshof, op aanklag van tenderkorrupsie verskyn en borgtog van R15 000 elk is deur die hof toegestaan terwyl die ondersoek voortgaan.
