Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Die polisie ondersoek ‘n saak van roekeloos- en nalatige bestuur nadat ‘n motoris in ‘n groep voetgangers ingejaag het by die kafee in Dawkinsville. Die voorval het vroegaand op Maandagaand 22 September gebeur.
Een voetganger is beseer en met ‘n ambulans hospitaal toe geneem. ‘n Ooggetuie het gesê die bestuurder van die wit Mercedes Benz is ‘n bekende inwoner van Dawkinsville wat gereeld onder die invloed van drank bestuur.

Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - As part of stamping the authority of the state, the weekly High Density Operation Shanela operations conducted between September 15 and 21, resulted in the arrest of 1 038 suspects.
Police spokesperson Col Adele Myburgh said the operations, among others, focused on stop and searches, roadblocks, vehicle check points (VCPs), high-visibility patrols including foot patrols, the tracing of wanted suspects as well as visits to liquor outlets, taverns, and second-hand goods premises.

Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Die stad se biker-gemeenskap is in rou gedompel na die dood van Juandré Fourie in ‘n ongeluk op die pad buite Parys naby Buffelshoek polisiestasie.
Juandré (22) was ‘n aktiewe lid van die Mad Hornets Motorfietsklub waar sy pa die visepresident is. Die klub het gereedgemaak om op Saterdag 20 September hul jaarlikse “poker run’’ aan te bied om fondse in te samel vir Evanna Tehuis. Dit is nou gekanselleer, want Saterdag word Juandré begrawe.

Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Another Nigerian with links to the drug underworld in Klerksdorp was arrested last week.
Kenechi Ndukaife Atuchuku (45) appeared in the Klerksdorp Magistrates’ Court on Monday September 15, facing charges of possession of and dealing in drugs. His court appearance emanates from a lengthy investigation conducted by the Hawks with the guidance of the National Prosecuting Authority’s Organised Crime Component into allegations of dealing in drugs in and around Klerksdorp.

Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The death of two little girls shocked the community after it became known that they bought chips from a local spaza shop hours before their death.
Sisters Realeboga Khaje (4) and Mosa Mogomotsi Mekgoe (3) were taken to hospital by their mother after feeling sick. According to family members the children bought Simba chips at a local spaza shop. The death of the young girls also caused an outcry on social media with the community demanding action against the owners of the shop.
