Help the Klerksdorp School of Gymnastics
Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - One of the city’s best attributes needs the community’s support to continue to offer quality training in a safe environment while further establishing the club as a vital resource in SA gymnastics.
The future of Klerksdorp School of Gymnastics is bleak. According to Artyom Vizer, representing the Klerksdorp School of Gymnastics, the school is not in danger of closing, but costs to keep it open have skyrocketed.
“Funds from the government and the NWU High Performance Institute have dried up. We need essential upgrades, including a new artistic gymnastics floor worth R1,5 million and a rhythmic gymnastics carpet worth R400 000,” he said.
