BRITS POS – BRITS – Die Suid-Afrikaanse Presisie Vlieg en -Landingskampioenskappe is Saterdag, 26 Oktober, weer eens met groot sukses by Brits Vliegklub aangebied en Ron Stirk van Brits is as algehele Suid-Afrikaanse landingskampioen gekroon.
Dié kampioenskappe bestaan uit ‘n Noordelike sektor (Noordwes, Gauteng en Vrystaat) wat by Brits Vliegklub en ‘n Suidelike sektor (Kaapprovinsie) wat in Stellenbosch plaasgevind het.

BRITS POS – BRITS - The 2024 Toyota Gazoo Racing SA GR Cup season came to an exhilarating conclusion at the Zwartkops International Raceway near Pretoria this past weekend.
With the GR Cup Media Challenge, GR Cup Dealer Challenge, and GR86 Development Academy titles already decided before the event, it was all about pride, podium finishes, and strong performances to close out the season. Fans were treated to two exciting race heats in the blistering Zwartkops sunshine, rounding off a fantastic year of GR Cup action.
SA’s Brad Cox crowned World Rally2 Champion in Morocco
BRITS POS – MOROCCO - After an exemplary year in MotoSports, South African Brad Cox (26) has achieved his goal after being crowned the World Rally2 Champion in the 2024 Rallye Du Maroc, World Rally-Raid Championship last weekend.
Brad, who races for BAS World KTM Racing, scored a double whammy by winning the rally and the title in Morocco, snatching the championship from Romain Dumontier (Team Honda) with Konrad Dąbrowski (Duust Rally) coming third.
Vorentoe Fees ‘n klinkende sukses
BRITS POS – BRITS – Met groot name soos onder andere Steve Hofmeyr en Pieter Smith wat vir die vermaak verantwoordelik was, was verlede Saterdag se Vorentoe Fees ‘n groot sukses en het nog ‘n merkwaardige dag op die Vorentoe-gemeente se kalender gemerk.
Die dag het, soos dit nou ‘n tradisie is, met die Brits Gravel Grinder-fietswedren afgeskop, met talle fietsryers wat hulle fiksheid én staal kom wys het.
Dian, ‘n rugbyspeler van formaat
BRITS POS – BRITS – Dian Erasmus, ‘n rugbyspeler van Hoërskool Brits het sy vlerke op internasionale velde gesprei en uitstekende rugby in Engeland gespeel.
Sy rugbytalent is vroeër vanjaar raakgesien toe hy deur die Rugby Travel Academy (RTA) gekies is om van 18 tot 26 September, as deel van ‘n o.15-rugbytoerspan na Bristol, Engeland te reis om teen van die beste klubspanne daar te speel.
