Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Klerksdorp Tuiste vir Bejaardes doen ‘n beroep op plaaslike besighede en die gemeenskap vir hulp aangesien die tehuis midde-in ‘n finansiële krisis is.
Die ouetehuis is nie alleen nie, want al die nie-winsgewende organisasies in NW bevind hulle in dieselfde penarie, want geen subsidie is sedert 1 April vanaf die regering ontvang nie.

Klerksdorp Rekord, Potchefstroom - Die Photographic Society of South Africa (PSSA) se foto-uitstalling kan nog tot Dinsdag 22 Oktober by die Snowflake Gallery gesien word.
Die uitstalling vorm deel van ‘n uitstalling wat deur die land reis ter herdenking van die 70ste bestaansjaar van PSSA. Die uitstalling spog met 70 afdrukke van 70 fotograwe, en is met sorg gekies uit 850 inskrywings wat PSSA lede vanoor die land ingeskryf het.
