Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Matlosana Municipality is being taken to task by taxi drivers in the city when the drivers blocked entrances to the municipal buildings with their vehicles earlier this week. 

Taxi drivers said they were fed-up with the condition of roads causing damage to their vehicles.

Nelson Mongale, Director of Technical and Infrastructure in the City of Matlosana, had no choice but to meet with the taxi drivers from Jouberton Ext 6, 7, and 13 to address their concerns regarding road conditions.

Life Anncron Hospital’s resident cardiologist and specialist physician, Dr Don Zachariah, has successfully performed the first mechanical coronary thrombectomy in the province. A thrombectomy is a procedure to remove a blood clot (thrombus) from a blood vessel. It is commonly performed in the cerebral arteries. Mechanical thrombectomy is an interventional procedure that uses a device to remove the clot. Surgical thrombectomy is a type of surgery that removes the clot from inside an artery or vein. Die drie plaaslike Lions klubs neem hande om hul projek genaamd Operation Bright Sight seep glad te laat verloop.

Die laerskool was die eerste skool in die omgewing waar hulle die tegnologie gebruik het. Dit het op Maandag 3 Maart plaasgevind.

Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - It was a celebration of note when Build It Plus in Klerksdorp handed a bright red Hyundai i10 to one of its clients.

Mapaseka Monaheng was dressed to the nines when she received the key to her brand new wheels from Sammy Kwinika on behalf of Build It Plus. 

Staff and family ululated the handover, with Mapaseka’s smile almost going right around her face. She stays in Orkney and bought material for her home in Khuma when she entered the competition.
