Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Kwalata Hiking, Camping, and Spring Festival is taking place this month at the Faan Meintjes Nature Reserve and it is the ideal time to enjoy the fresh air and outdoors.
The City of Matlosana, in partnership with the Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation, and Tourism (DEDECT), and the Matlosana Hiking Club, is presenting the festival on September 27.

Childhood cancer is one of the leading causes of disease-related deaths among children worldwide, and in South Africa, around 1 000 children are diagnosed each year.

Brandon Meyer, station manager at Life FM, with the radio station’s Telkom Radio Award for their social initiative, The Bible Drive. This project started in July 2024 between the radio station and Practical Faith ministries and together they gave away more than 1 500 Bibles to people who do not have access to Bibles. This project won the team at Life FM a radio award.

Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Nagenoeg 70 mense het die boekbekendstelling van Forever Yours by From Shack to Sanctuary bygewoon. En bykans elke gas het ‘n boek gekoop.
Sestig van Sam-Annique Lowry se debuutboek is tydens die bekendstelling op Donderdag 4 September verkoop. Haar pa, Ferdie Swanepoel, sakeman en skrywer, het sy dogter gepols oor hoe die boek ontstaan het en sy het vertel hoe die boek in haar begin broei het na die verlies aan haar skoolliefde wat tydens hul rekordeksamen in 2012 oorlede is.
Sy het deur haar seer gewerk deur woorde op papier te sit.
