NOORDWESTER – SWARTRUGGENS - A multi-disciplinary team consisting of the Swartruggens and Bojanala Sub-District 2 Detectives Task Team, Rustenburg Crime Intelligence, Rustenburg Public Order Police (POP) and the Rustenburg Tactical Response Team (TRT) arrested two suspects, aged 35 and 36, following the linkage to house robbery, theft, murder and kidnapping, which occurred in a small holding outside Swartruggens on Monday, 10 June.

NOORDWESTER – GROOTPAN - Hierdie jaar was daar 1 765 besoekers, meer as 70 uitstallers, verskeie skole, perderitte en gaskunstenaars betrokke by die jaarlikse Stroperresies. 
Dan ook, al die deelnemers met hul werkers. Grootpan Studiegroep se voorsitter, Marco Bretschneider en Du Preez Landgoed, wil elkeen bedank vir die bywoning van die jaarlikse Stroperresies. Hierdie jaar was ‘n ongelooflike sukses en dit sou glad nie moontlik wees sonder die borge, deelnemers, uitstallers en besoekers nie. Die Studiegroep sien al reeds uit na volgende jaar waar deelnemers hul staal kan wys.

NOORDWESTER - LICHTENBURG - Spokes-person, Lebogang Mokgothu, of the Police Legends, expressed appreciation for the involvement of the Noordwester in publishing the previous Conference held in April.
Since the conference, more than 20 retired police officers joined Central Region Police Legends.

NOORDWESTER - MOLOPO - A 26-year-old Nigerian foreign national was due to appear in the Molopo Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 10 June, for possession and dealing in drugs. The suspect was arrested on Thursday morning, 6 June, by Mmabatho Visible Policing members during a Crime Intelligence driven and tactical operation.
