These students from Matthews Academy Independent School in Alabama were awarded certificates at the Musikon prize giving. The school offers classes of music as an extra-curricular activity for enrichment and development. They are Ijeoma Nwosu, Jason Moseki, Kagoentle Maleke and Luthando Qashega.

Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Die Tegniese Wetenskap-leerlinge van Hoërskool Schoonspruit het op Sondag 21 April aan Klerksdorp Rotariërs se jaarlikse ‘Rocket Day’ deelgeneem.
Schoonspruit se drie spanne, Starship deur die matrieks, en twee gr 11-spanne, Vuurpylmanne en NASA 2.0 was slaggereed vir aksie. Die spanne moes vuurpyle uit koeldrankbottels bou en afvuur. Die kompetisie het uit vier rondtes bestaan.
In die afdeling vir hoërskole het die Vuurpylmanne koning gekraai. NASA 2.0 behaal ‘n tweede plek en Starship het vyfde geëindig.
