Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - The National Minimum Wage for each “ordinary hour worked” has been increased from Saturday March 1 by 4.4% from R27,58 per hour to R28,79 per hour. This means domestic workers should be paid R28,79 per hour which equates to R230,32 per day or R5 067,04 per month.
The monthly amount is calculated by working 8 hours per day over a 22 day cycle.
