This month, we celebrate the school holidays with an easy recipe for the entire family - lightly toasted hamburger buns topped with a mix of fresh leaves, tomato slices, a garlicky mushroom, some strong cheddar cheese and a juicy minute steak.
Variations: Substitute minute steaks with thinly sliced sirloin steak. Or add a fried egg to create a breakfast version of this meal. Instead of hamburger buns, use bagels for some extra flair.
Tip: Lightly toast the inside of the hamburger buns in a hot pan and/or heat them in the oven before serving to prevent the bread from getting soggy.
